Water Source Site Nursery is the most important center of plant cultivation in the Office. It is in charge of producing 330 thousand seasonal or special plants annually to be used to decorate city streets. It is located right in the bustling Gongguan, so close to the daily lives of the citizens. However, one may visit the neighborhood of Gongguan Water Source Site Nursery on the way to work, to school, to do business or to shop without noting its important functions.
To encourage the citizens to participate in urban greening, the Nursery, acting as a bridge between the city government and the public, has opened its doors for the public to visit since 2013. Through frequent visitation and occasional flower shows, the public can increase their greening knowledge and grow to love gardening, hence achieving the objective of popular urban greening. The nursery colleagues, besides their daily job, make use of the existing resources to fulfill their creativity in beautifying the nursery to give it a fresh look. With the spirit of excellence, the nursery expects to provide a greater variety of functions other than plant production. Through periodic exhibitions and activities, the Nursery will increase public interaction, and display professional skills regarding nursery greening, as well as great service enthusiasm.
