Dahu Park’s Sunshine Lawn Newly Reopened: Another fantastic location for relaxation
Dahu Park, one of Taipei City’s waterscape parks, is reminiscent of the gracefully picturesque West Lake (Xihu) in China’s Hangzhou area, and perfect for relaxation, or simply having fun. Situated beside MRT Dahu Park Station, the “Sunshine Lawn” in Dahu Park not only plays the role of an ideal host to public events but also caters to Taipeians who love sightseeing, among other pastimes.
In times of emergency, the approximately 5,000m2 Sunshine Lawn can be transformed from a recreation facility into a shelter. Considering the public demand for outdoor physical exercises, this sprawling lawn remains an integral part of the revamped Dahu Park, offering a “green stage” for various activities that include performances. Whether sprinkled with golden sunshine or glistening in the moonlight, this lush lawn promises each visiting Taipeian an opportunity to soothe the body and soul, and to unwind after a hectic day at work.
