As the weather gets increasingly hot, growing vegetables on the roof not only provides farming fields but also demonstrates the benefits of urban cooling. As Taipei City promoted the garden city policy, the Taipei City Hospital, Songde Branch transformed the concrete roof into a “green roof” becoming the benchmark of the hospitals.
